I finally found one in The Crypt after what seemed like endless fights. Of course now that I have one I am finding them in every other fight. Don't you love how that works?

It's the same on the Amiga version as well. I transferred in some 30+ level characters and gave the Warrior, Paladin, and Hunter all a Stoneblade and my bard has a Song Axe and no one is doing more than 30 points of damage with no stoning or critical hits. I don't suppose you have one from BT1 or BT2 you can transfer in do you? I never did as Rouges were useless in the first two Bard's Tales. I'm still working on The Destiny Knight on the Amiga right now so I will have this problem when I get to Thief of Fate.

Having my front four dudes all with Spectre Snares made combat a breeze in here and giving my mages each a Staff Of Lor took care of any poisoning and HP problems.
