Reviewing you sewers 1 map, looks to be incorrect. The stairs should be at 18N 7E rather than the 10N 10E you have them at. Some other area in the bottom left appear wrong, and you have missed a teleport which may have caused you to err with the ...

I know when I was using the emulator I used to quick save before going into the review board. If i didn't like the level up I got, I would just reload the quick save and do it again until I was happy.

After an 2 hours creating a new Character disk and rolling new Characters I am ready to rumble. I plan to take this party through all three games on the 64

I have finally got my hands on a working copy of Tales of the Unknown for the C64.

I now have working copies of all 3 games + Dragon Wars. I am off adventuring.... :D

I am currently using a program called, liors map maker. It has a grid, you make your own walls, doors, and other symbols etc and just insert into the grid when needed. Windows 7 and 8 it is not supported on though!

Will post a bitmap made with it of the Tombs in BT2 when I get a chance.

I have a cordless phone, the range is approximately 30 meters! Pretty pointless me driving across town with it when it won't even reach into the paddock.

In some of the clue books and references on Bard's Tale site, the authors refer to saving their characters to disk and making a backup copy. This way if you spent countless hours building up characters and then do something unwise or extremely unlucky, all is not lost.

Confirmed it all works on the IPhone. Screen is to small though for it to be a good experience.

Just discovered the latest update for bard tale a quest for coin and cleavage now has a BT1 option. They have BT2 and BT3 coming soon. I have done the update and it looks like it is based on the Dos version.

the below is also from the same website. The only thing I can suggest with your previous efforts with BT 1 were that the copy protection was removed from your copies BT1

Both BT1 can use V1 or V2 of the pirate slayer BTII only uses V2. see links.

I am myself trying to duplicate some originals to emulator images, trying to get rid of the trap issue with BTII on emulator images.
