As for Winged Creature, I looked at his résumé, and all it says is:
"Enjoys flying across 10 foot chasms."

Herb Figurines and (Blast) Dragon Figurines (from Grey Crypt, level 1) were used. A Slaymaker joined my party in Maze of Dread and that helped me get a foot in the door at the Grey Crypt.

At least some versions actually show a chasm. The dos version does not, it just looks like regular flooring. I'm like... "yeah, show me the chasm!" :shock:

Yes, the rest of the Ultimate RPG Archives manual is for other games: "Stonekeep" comes before the BT I section; "Ultima Underworld" after BTCS. If the Title and Contents pages are not included, the page count looks correct.

In Destiny Knight BT II (PC DOS) I was bummed that my Hunter lost his critical hit ability once I passed the 255 value. It simply rolled over and started again at 0! I now save up experience points to level up 9 - 15 levels in succession.

I'd say Legend of the Seeker (although it ended after 2 seasons) but The Brady Bunch is good too.

...sigh... I've been trying bunches of different NPCs: Storm Giants, Red Dragons, Spectres... sometimes they'll put up a fight, but usually they'll get squashed by some real nasty enemy. I did have some recent success with Salamanders, but I doubt they will continue winning fights for my party.

Find enemy AC levels for BT1 (probably documented on The Adventurers' Guild), and subtract a spread of 4 to 6 points to determine if your characters' AC levels are low enough to avoid melee attacks. Remember, spell casting enemies can get around AC advantages.
