Actually, I'm curious on what is the best END GAME party? (or most fun/imbalanced)

All archmages (+ rogue, + bard)?
Or, has anyone tried multiple bards? Do their songs stack in combat? (+4 bards, +1 rogue, +2 archmages)?

I want to play this game! I am thinking I should try it on the Amiga since I do like the nicer graphics and sound. The only reason I play Bard's Tale 3 on the C64 is because the other versions are so bugged/broken.

Don't you sort of need a thief later on? How will you beat certain Bosses? (I don't quite remember, but doesn't Sceadu need to die from a thief?) Or maybe even tarjan (just easier, but you can prob reach him to kill him in melee).

Seems like the best versions with regards to reliability and gameplay are the c64 and apple versions.

The amiga version looks nice, but alas, I think when I tried it, you could not type in spells but had to select it using a mouse. Obviously anyone who designed that never played this game very much ...
