I use basically the same format of party my older brother did in the 80s... Paladin Bard Rogue Conjurer Conjurer Magician (Although his was a third Conjurer) Though this makes the beginning of BT1 harder than it needs to be, it precludes the need to create and switch out a seventh or eighth stand-in.

I lost my Flame Horn to grinding because of this when I would have preferred to save it for Mangar.

Note to self (and you): If you pick up a Flame Horn (way better than a Fire Horn), save it for the Tower!

"Save Party" means to save the format of your party (the characters and the order they're in) to a name (e.g., ADVENTURERS). Then when you want to start your game quickly you go into Add Member and then click on ADVENTURERS instead of each character separately. It does nothing to actually ...

When you return to the Adventurer's Guild, hit R to remove your party and save it to disk. It saves automatically when you remove your party. Then you can just exit the game as normal. This threw me off for a decent while, because on the PC I just pushed UP like normal. But in the iOS/Android port, you have to push ENTER.

Thanks for the help!

It's on to the Catacombs, then, for more grinding... which I find relaxing (and it makes the more difficult encounters less stressful, as well). I remember there being an attributes cap but I don't recall having hit a level cap on my last go-around.
