I also play the thief of fate on my c64 but I have a cartridge riser card which has bt1-3 installed. I don´t need to change disks or something and the time of loading is not worth to be mentioned at all. So I still play the game since 1988 and my geomancer charakter in bt3 is over level 3575 yet ...

What´s the best equipment that fits your charakters for final battle? What is useful and nesessary to strike Tarjan down? Please post any suggestions and discuss with me about the ad- and dis-advantage of your equipment.

4. Archmage
5. Archmage
6. Archmage
7. Chronomancer

In endgame-battle it´s not very smart to fight with weapons like strifespear, stoneblade or something else. You have to keep the bastards away from you and kill them by spells ...
