I made a JavaFX Application to conveniently show/filter the items contained in the JSON-Files above.
It lets you show all items (of BT3) with their (hidden) stats.
you can filter by class and slot.
i attach a first screenshot. I take a look how i can give you the app too.

can someone answer the following question after disassembling the code? resistence and classes: do all classes have the same resistance (chance to avoid spell damage) if they have the same luck-value, level and the same items equipped? is there a class-bonus to resistance or do some classes get more...

strength gives you bonus to damage (BT1. in bt3 msdos it only gives to-hit bonus afaik) and please consider: if you do tests, do it without enemies casting "casts a spell...", because they may have altered your damage with this spell. there are pages out there and posts here on this forum ...

in some versions you have to press a button to go through (open) a door.
i think it was 'D', you can find it here somewhere on the forum i think.

and according chests: dungeons consist of rooms and hallways. inside rooms, loot lies inside chests. but in you fought in a hallway, you get loot directly.

another +1 for bt3: you can cure oldness/withering

has anyone tried if it is sufficient to only have a bardsword in inventory but not equip it?
(this works for conjurerstaff, as you can read somewhere else here)

i would prefer to use something deadly like a stoneblade to kill monsters with my bard with each attack.
