Because the effort was so time consuming already that I did not want to play through 5 different editions of BT III just to arrive at the dimensions to get the songs. Alternatively I could have attempted to edit characters, but that effort times 5 differing platforms all with potentially significant...

Thought you all might be interested in exploring this channel dedicated to the Bard's Tale music. NES is excluded as are songs 7 and 8 from Bard's Tale 3, but all else is there. Close to 40 tunes, across 8 platforms. Songs across platforms do not always sound the same, thus the word "tune"...

How is character generation supposed to work in Amstrad and Spectrum? It is not clear to me how character generation and storage is supposed to work. I found the party merger program on Disk 2 (using Amstrad CPC version currently), but reference is made to a party disk there, as well as in the game ...
