Re: CHIP Kickstarter
CHIP does look interesting though. SOmetime in the future people will have much more complicated and powerful yet incredibly smaller chips installed in their brains. Won't need a keyboard or controller, nor CD's or USB's. But the master control will rule all humankind. Slaves to the machines! :shock...

Re: Labyrinth Lord
Labyrinth Lord looks cool. The kickstarter lists the funding as cancelled 2 days ago although the funding period end date was to be May 16, 2015. Are you still going to be working on this? or is it completely abandoned?

Re: Your thoughts on the state of the genre?
It's great that Bard's Tale IV is in the works. Although, I'd prefer it be first person view like Bard's Tale I-III were and I have this feeling that it may instead end up using the same engine as the new Wasteland 2 (isometric view Baldur's Gate style). I hope they instead stay true to the look and...

Re: new member
Welcome Ice Warrior! Your handdrawn maps look great. If you are going to map all the dungeon levels, perhaps you could ask Brian the Fist to host them on this Adventurers Guild.

Re: BT 3 MSDOS version
I'm guessing that since drifting linked directly to the .exe rather than the folder itself, that you would just need to put the .exe file in the bards tale III folder and type thiefp to start. It seems to boot up OK doing that. notice thiefp in the dosbox header. http://www.weekendwastemonster.net/c...

Re: Bard's Tale Sinclair ZX Spectrum Poster
Cool art. I like the first one. I'd imagine it appears sort of a magician versus conjuror battle of some sort.
The second is a bit strange, I mean what's that guy doing to the frog? Frog appears a bit shocked and disturbed.
Poor frog.

Tactical Simulations Interactive (TSI)
Most of you probably remember Strategic Simulations Inc. (SSI) from all of their goldbox advanced dungeons and dragons video games and their wargames and the like. Now as of recent, there is Tactical Simulations Interactive (TSI) https://pbs.twimg.com/profile_images/497820449284182017/cMH3BpOe_400x4...

Re: Board Moderator
I also like the new theme. It gives the site more flavor and style. It's unfortunate that the BT Builder thread isn't fully retrievable. I came in specifically to view what was going on with BT Builder. It is unfortunate that things went sour with previous moderation also. If no one else wants the d...
