Hiya Saxon1974, You might want to try... http://www.c64games.com/ http://arnold.c64.org/ They both have BT2 for the C64 available for download. I haven't tested them out so I don't know if the traps work correctly or not. Also another thought that it might not be the game files in question. Maybe p...

The C64 version of Destiny Knight on this site seems to have a traps bug. Traps never affect your party at all. This crack version with the hit point trainer made by scratch\triangle is the only workning version I can find on the net and none of them work. Anyone know where to find another version o...

I did some testing tonight and it appears that the version and a few other versions I found on the net dont work right for traps. I found and tried about 3 versions and went to step on a trap square with the beginning ATEAM and all 3 C64 versions did zero damage to my party. I loaded up the DOS vers...

Traps bug?
It appears that traps don't affect my party at all.
Im playing the C64 version of the game.
When I hit a trap, it gives a message that I hit one, but no one seems to have any affect. Does anyone else have this issue? Is this a bug maybe?

Hi Marco, there might occur some graphic issues when a monster joins your party. I had once an Illusion that was shown as a black spot. However, I've just finished Thief of Fate on the C64 emulator and there wasn't a single corrupted monster of the ones I encountered. And since you don't need any c...

Does the DOS version have varied dungeon environments? Or do they all look like the bland green look of the starter dungeon? There are definitely more than one version. I only remember a red one with skulls, but I think there are at least 3 different styles. Thanks. I just tried out the Dos version...

Hey Saxon, I switched pretty soon from C64 to the Dos version. Even using the warp function, the loading times got on my nerves. Every time I faced a special building, an encounter, checked the rooster, etc. I had to hit alt-w - pretty annoying. My party set up worked out quite well and I was able ...

Do you map?
Just curious,
For most of you who pay through these games, do you still create your own maps while playing? Or do you use those already created or online ones?
Im doing my own mapping now, its fun but times consuming. Im just wondering how much using pre-made maps will kill the fun of discovery.

Thanks Dragon! I've already tried to rescue the Princess, it's so hard ;-( The first time I forgot the Winged Creature, the second time and I didn't have enough spell points left for the levitation spell on lvl 2, the third time the emulator crashed and the fourth time my paladin died and didn't ge...

My Destiny Knight adventures
Hi all, Just started playing this great game a few days ago. I played it as a kid years ago, but I don't remember how far I made it. I do remember it as one of my most fond summertime memories, I think I spent an entire summer playing this game in my bedroom. Anyway, I just thought I would share a l...

I asked this question in the Bards Tale I forum but I will ask it again here since it was really a question for Bards Tale II. Does the Amiga version have animated monsters pics like those above? Also, is the Amiga version more varied in environments\dungeons tiles and such than the C64 version? I ...

Just finishing up Bard's Tale I on my C64 emulator. I like the dark look on the C64 version the most for some reason. That being said, the amiga version definitely has better graphics. Im having trouble deciding what version of Bards' Tale II to play, the amiga or stick with C64. I thought I heard s...
