I really liked Dungeon Master and Chaos Strikes Back. Also Legend of Skullkeep was a great fantasy role-playing-game. I remember many sleepless nights in my youth playing these games.

Has anyone of you tried to use the WaybackMachine (http://web.archive.org) to possibly restore the missing thread? It just came into my mind that I used this service some years ago to successfully restore parts of another website. I would have tried immediately but unfortunately I am unable to acces...

Let's see how things go without any moderator at all. Just inform me about spammers/bots and I will remove them from the board. However, if this turns out to be ineffective in future I think I will create a poll so you can all vote for your favorite mod. Does this sound like a deal for you folks?

I agree that moderation may not absolutely be necessary in this board. However, I would need to rely on you somehow, e. g. informing me about bots and other spam which needs to be removed.

Seems that this board is without moderator again. Darendor resigned from his function as mod last weekend and therefore this function is vacant again. All of you, who do you think would be a good moderator for this board? Please make suggestions in this thread and I will think about granting mod pow...

Does anybody of you know if there are differences between the disk and the tape version of Bard's Tale I? Have been asked this question by an unregistred user via E-mail. Although I think that both versions are identical I just wanted to double-check with some of you.

To whom it may concern:

I purchased the bards take on my phone. In Harkyn's castle I cannot walk through doors. Am I doing something wrong? It just gives me messages like "oof", "ouch", etc.

In fact there are plenty of differences between the C64 version and the Amiga version - however, I'm not sure if multiple attacks are among these differences. Nevertheless, it would not make sense to have a bard with multiple attacks and a warrior with only one attack.

Since last weekend Central Europe is on energy saving time. This board still is one hour behind and claims to indicate all times as GMT + 1....
