Re: The Destiny Knight Bonuses
This is what I have figured out about the bonuses so far: 1. The bonuses are given to the archmage who reforged the segments into one at the temple. Equipping the scepter itself doesn't seem to do much. 2. The archmage gains a permanent bonus to AC. 3. Critical hits will instead fully restore the D...

1. This is very normal. The wizard and sorcerer are considered classes. You have to master the spell levels of 1 class to advance to the next. Do you have a manual. If not download it from the site. This site has the spell list, and some cheat stuff too. It will tell you things like that. Actually,...

It's definitely not a safe square. I happened to be playing around with it earlier today, and I had plenty of random encounters while I was hanging out on the square. I've had this issue too. I think the ridiculous encounter rate is because you're running the game on a fast computer. I suspect MoSlo will fix this problem, but I've never gotten around to trying it. You could also try running it under DosBox -- I'm not 100% sure, but I think DosBox has a built-in s...

Mangar's Tower Level 5 mystery square (spoilers)
On the 5th level of Mangar's Tower at 8N, 10E is a square that registers as "special" to sorcerer sight. The disk drive runs whenever you stand on this square, but nothing ever happens there. This is the square 2 steps north of where the boiling pool teleports you, 2 steps south of another...
