I strongly recommend that you put all your knowledge onto the wiki, before it falls out of your ears.

I don't see enough people interested in this project to proceed with it.

That is how game sites work, unfortunately. The interest is there, it just ebbs and flows. RL gets in the way, and the high drive fades for a little while. I am certain that there is still plenty of interest.

Count me in aswell. I'm new to this forum, but signed up out of interest from the recent development on the C-64 dungeon-layout and the dungeon-editor. I have some experience in hacking around in pseudo-3D engines and have previously fiddled around a little with Might & Magic II (Commodore 64), Swords & Sorcery (NES) aswell as Todd Elliotts engine which have been mentioned somewhere in this section.

I've sat down trying to make a shower in machinelanguage for the dungeonmaps and managed to get it to plot the lower part of the map. My intention is to continue looking at it after the weekend and to find a load/save routine in ML which could use both file and track/sector approach.

Keep it up folks - and especially you Darendor. There's some good spirit here, but not that much experience in dealing with Commodore 64 architecture and code. I hope me and ZeroZero can add some help on that front.

Zerozero and I have been conferring over MSN throughout the past week or so. He's a lot smarter than I am. :?

I imagine he'd be just as glad as I am for your input and help. 8)

Let's hold a Council of Elrond to decide what to do about this editor stuff.
