Where is Baron Harkyn?

Bearing in mind that we never actually meet Baron Harkyn during the game, has he fled or been killed by creatures when they overran the city or was he in league with Mangar?

I always got the feeling he was meant to have beaten a hasty retreat once you slaughter his 396-berzerker army. So I guess I'm going with "fled".

I was always under the impression that he was on vacation somewhere a lot warmer than a city locked under eternal winter.

You know, if I remember how to do it, I could edit a 4th (and maybe 5th) level into Harkyn's Castle that has the baron cowering in the closet or something...

I - like every one else so far - went with killed.

In my "update" Bard's Tale idea, I have him being defeated and banished by Mangar when Mangar overtake Skara Brae. You run into him in BT3.

I didn't vote that he was killed, I said that he went on vacation and kind of just missed his return flight home....
