Check out my thread today I posted, it decodes the file (nearly) completely.

And I'll look into VICE for a debugger. *hides abacus*

I have begun disassembling one of the 13 13-block files on the dungeon disk, which I suspect are the dungeon level files.

The A/1st side of the dungeon disk has 13 of these files, and there are 13 levels on that disk.

I selected a file that I suspected (based on chronological order only) contained Fanskar's Castle, and sure enough I found the text string from the Snare of Death which says "You have succeeded again, mortals".

More to come.

EDIT 12 April 2019: Confirmed. The beginning of the text string portion of this file has the first text clue found in Fanskar's Castle: "Your light illuminates the dingy walls of Fanskar's fortress. You hear voices in the distance."
