I found an Easter Egg in the DOS version. In the Wasteland when asked

You see a ghostly death's-head floating above this spot and hear a voice ask, "Who am I?"

If you answer with PAVLISH you get the response:

This was native to the 8-bit systems!

I guess Alan Pavlish was one of the programmers for BT3...

Might have been involved in BT III, but is best known for his work on Wasteland, likely developed at the same time as BT III.
