To whom it may concern:

I purchased the bards take on my phone. In Harkyn's castle I cannot walk through doors. Am I doing something wrong? It just gives me messages like "oof", "ouch", etc.

Please help.

Hmm. On the C64 version at least, when you get that "OUCH!" message it means either:

a) You're trying to walk through a wall,
b) You're using the "move ahead" command instead of "kick down door" command to try to go through the door

I'm guessing this is b). Make sure you're using the kick command to go through a door.

This threw me off for a decent while, because on the PC I just pushed UP like normal. But in the iOS/Android port, you have to push ENTER.

Curiously enough, on the iPad version, at least, this is only the case if you're playing with the keyboard visible. If you're playing with the game fully maximised, you can go straight through doors by tapping on the 3D view, as normal.
