Anyone who has a cordless phone (NOT a cell phone):
Have you ever taken your fully charged handheld cordless with you across town and tried to get a dial tone?

I have a cordless phone, the range is approximately 30 meters! Pretty pointless me driving across town with it when it won't even reach into the paddock.

I always read it as "padlock".
