BT3 C64 Disk Image Files

I've heard several times that the Apple II disk image files for BT3 are corrupted, making the game virtually unplayable in emulation.

Is this also true of the C64 disk images, or is it safe to assume that if I wanted to, say, at some point play through the C64 version of all three games the BT3 images for the C64 would work just fine?

The issue I've encountered with playing BTIII on WinVICE is that sometimes the emulated disk drive fails to recognize the disk image and says "Please Insert [DISK] and press a key", sometimes up to 9 or 10 times before it works properly.
