Mob Slot Tests. This is why I asked Dulsi to give me transparent sprites for slots. Mob Slots are going to look so good, once animated.

I was testing walls for caves and Mob shadows at the same time, when I grabbed an awesome screen shot of a spider mob.

Avatar tests for Player Characters. Using the original backgrounds I had for PC images, so they won't interfere with Mobs and will be unique. Still rebuilding all my asset directories, but have the majority done, hence the tests. Rendered at the 1680x1050 3DView size.

Inadvertently fixed the issues I was having with PBR textures in iClone last night. The spider anim was 378 frames, which came out to a whopping 172mb for the file. I trimmed it down to the base keyframes (64) and it dropped down to a more manageable 30mb, with minimal quality loss.

A gif version of the full animation:

More shader work in iClone.

Finally figured out how to set up UE for cinematic renders. Had to create a new camera, specifically in UE and "eyeball" it's position to get it to render properly. Still need to work out the kinks with lighting and motion blur, but I have more experience working with Unity/Unreal's effects nodes than iClone's archaic ones. It also means less work for me. :D

I got my camera imported into UE as a Cinematic Camera, so they're all the same across applications. I threw in a simple 3 point light system and did some more renders. Cinematic rendering in UE doesn't support Character Blueprints, only skeletal meshes, but it's super fast to merge skeletons using Maya and re-importing a new base mesh. I may actually be able to do my tileset rendering in UE now and forego using Daz completely, except for PC Portraits.

My Stage works across all usable platforms, so long as you use my cameras. Also confirmed that you can adjust camera up and down, as well as depth and have a near perfect alignment with the tilesets, provided the monster animation is dead center in my Stage. My lighting is still terrible, but that can be fixed. I need to throw together a dragonfire effect for this animation. 8)
