For some bizarre reason this popped into my head while I was mowing my yard.
Most of the names in Bard's Tale are pretty self-explanatory in terms of how you'd (most likely) pronounce them. But I got to thinking...
How do you pronounce "Kiel" (of Magic Compass fame)? I've spent my whole life pronouncing it "Keel" (like on a ship) - but it just dawned on me that maybe it's more like "Ki-El" (or Ky-El)?
How have you guys been pronouncing it?

I always thought it was pronounced "Keel" too
Re: "Kiel"
I've always gone with "keel" as well.

Re: "Kiel"
I always pronounced it like Kyle, like the kid in SouthPark.

I always pictured it like "Kale", like that disgusting grass drink that people in California like so much.
