Has anyone had luck running this game? I get the initial Interplay screen and then it just hangs. I am running WindowsXP, but I can run all of the regular Bards Tale games without a problem.

Try using the DOSBox emulator. You can find it in the emulator section of the Adventurers' Guild.

I downloaded the bardslore maps.txt file. It is extremely difficult to follow. Do you have a better one. Please look at it and I think you will see what I am talking about. Thank you Bruce, Chaney

I converted the whole text file (which was originally coded for MS-DOS) to PDF format. There should not be any problems viewing it right now.

You can find the new file in the CS section of the Adventurers' Guild or simply download it from here (right-click + save):

If there are still problems, just give me a note.

That looks much better. Thank you! I appreciate it. I will have to try it out this weekend.
