Hey how about a contest? Here are the rules...You take a screenshot of any of the Bard's Tale series I, II, or III, and you alter the screenshot in some way to create something funny. The screenshot can be of any version of the Bard's Tale series.....DOS, Apple IIe, IIGS, Amiga, Atari ST, C64, or any other version not mentioned. You can alter the text area to say something different, or alter the image, or replace the image with an image of your own etc. Whatever you want to do with it. Once we have 10 entries we can have a poll and vote on which one is the best. There is no limit on the number of entries you can make. We can always have multiple polls on each set of 10 entries if need be. I will start it off with the first entry. Please remember to number your entry so that it will be easier when it comes time to make the poll. You can also label the entry to indicate from which BT game and which version of the game you took the screenshot from.
Entry #1 Bard's Tale II Apple IIGS version.

Having decided that breaking the Destiny Wand into seven parts and scattering them in dungeons across the Realm wasn't enough, the twisted archmage Lagoth Zanta decided to try to destabilize the Realm's economy by deploying sinister wizards to lay in wait for unsuspecting would-be heroes...
This is my entry #1 for BTII, Commodore 64 version.

I was gonna post a "heh, heh..." but now it just seems forced.
What it is, is... we're all trying to top it.

It's a little crude, and in more than one way, but it's all I had time for.

Hey, all of those screenshots are really fantastic. What about sending them to Interplay?

Yep, can anyone host it for me please. I tried hosting it a the C64 wiki site, but they seemed to have deleted it. They are obviously wisely above toilet humour.

Thanks dragonbait for hosting that.
I only wish I had the time, and talent, to keep the modification in line with the C64 resolution and palette.
Hoping to see more entries...
