...is a dead one!?? But seriously, I can think of one or two ways a living Doppleganger could be useful, but I am having difficulties thinking about how a dead Doppleganger NPC would be useful. Any suggestions?

btw, yes i did do some bit-fiddling, but only in the NAME and the byte that marks the dead status.
