I am also wandering around Unterbrae on the C-64. Yep. Its definitely tough with new characters. I was playing on an Apple IIe emulator and got up through and into Arboria when I saw that there are so many monster images that don't display correctly. Even the Magic Mouth image wouldn't display, so I...

I liked all of the gold box series. A lot of fun to play. The Dark Queen of Krynn is the only one I haven't played all the way through. Mostly played the DOS versions.

Recording Video with C-64 Emulators

Curious on how to Record video with the VICE C-64 Emulator. I am able to record video with the CCS64 emulator by clicking Alt+Shft+V to start/stop recording, but the CCS64 emulator has a tendency to freeze up and otherwise crash my system. I know I can record video with VICE by clicking Snapshot and...

Yes. Games now-a-days focus too much on realistic 3D graphics and realtime hack n' slash. What this world needs is a back to the basics 2D map gridded turn-based thought provoking, puzzle solving, 6 character party based, strategy wielding rpg in a fantasy or sci-fi setting. I'm sure there would be ...

Hey, I was at Mecandes' Bard's Tale Compendium Yahoo Group and I let them know about the Reverse Engineering Project and he had some links to Burger Becky Heineman's livejournal and website. Maybe she might be interested in the project.... Re: 8-Bit BTCS - 6502 Reverse Engineering Project I wonder i...

Sure I guess you could say to get the most out of the games you need to draw your own maps but I just get too lazy for that. Check out some of the...
